Welcome!

I am a professor of English at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where I teach writing and rhetoric. My classes address topics such as literacy, human rights, and humor, and many of my classes have involved a service commitment to the Nashville community. Research interests include writing, literacy, new media, new materialism, and higher-education pedagogy. I have published work on writing centers, service-learning narratives, literacy histories, and online media including digital stories, video games, and discussion boards. Feel free to browse the menu above or the links below for more information about me and my work.
